In jiu jitsu the only weapon used is your body, or at times perhaps you have a small weapon such as a dagger. Jiu jitsu was created in Japan and brought to Brazil as an effective technique against an armored enemy. The defender positions his or her body so as to protect him or herself while preying on the enemy’s weaknesses. Barum Jiu Jitsu San Diego teaches under the great Carlson Gracie.
